[[ What is this?

This is basically a personal page as would be run by Yamato, as I see him -- not necessarily as canon (or whatever you call canon in the Digi franchise) does.

I've been watching Digimon Adventure for the last twenty something years. (Not all day, every day for the last twenty something years. That would be really weird.) I've written fanfiction, I've drawn fanart...what I really wanted to do was to sink my teeth into the Yamato I've been seeing for the past twenty years who lives in my mind, who, naturally, will not be the same Yamato anyone else sees. Consider it a beautiful melding of canon and headcanon. Or a disastrous collision, I'm not sure. I was the little shit than ran a webclique specifically for people who rejected the ending of Zero Two and shipped Mimato simply because I was told I couldn't -- you think I'm gonna put the breaks on anytime soon? ;P

It's a mixture of what would have been on a sixteen-year-old's homepage at the time (2003/4...and yes, trust me, I know what personal sites were like back then), a couple of musical anachronisms just for fun, and a bunch of idle thoughts in blog form, all from Yamato's point of view. I've stuck to the basic facts for the most part -- I would think it would be pretty obvious to anyone who has seen Digimon as to what I'm toying with outside of canon (and what I'm completely ignoring, cough latter half of 02 hack cough). Still, if you'd prefer something a little less meta, there is always Runaway Run, my more traditional Yamato site and fanlisting.

This site is hosted here on wings.nu, my general collective, and not on my anime/manga collective, to further the conceit that this is a real person's hosted website, just like way back in the day.

Keep an eye out for Easter eggs: little pieces which relate to Yamato's personal life but wouldn't typically be included on a webpage. They won't be marked obviously, but if you hover over some text and get the help cursor -- like this text here -- you'll know if you click on it, you'll find extra content.

All that said, blackout is Yamato's page, not mine. I'll let him get on with it. This is the first, last, and only piece from my perspective you'll find here.
